Ok, I've been hearing about "Inside Out" Burgers. I don't understand why they're called that, I think it'd be more appropriate to call them "Outside In", or just "Stuffed". Anyhow, Baby Girl and I decided to make our own version tonight, they turned out really good, maybe even better than a "Five Guys" burger which for some reason I was craving. Here's how we made them.
Ingredients:
1 lb of ground beef
1 small block of cheese, sliced thinly
4 slices of bacon cooked, drained and broken into pieces
Seasonings (to taste)
Put ground beef in a bowl, season to taste (I used pepper, garlic powder and onion powder), mix well. Make 8 small patties of equal size. Top 4 patties with 2 slices of the cheese (overlap them if you have to so they don't hang over the sides of the pattie), then top with broken bacon. Top these patties with the 4 remaining, sealing edges well. Cook to desired doneness.
Serves 4
I made some with extra sharp cheddar (DH loves this) and some with swiss (Bubba had requested that). You can stuff with whatever your heart desires, I'm thinking maybe next time I do swiss adding some mushrooms, maybe just a tad bit of steak sauce in the meat mixture, the options are endless!
I would have named this blog Recipes but I hope to share a whole lot more than just that here. Tips and Tricks and Product reviews may be few but every little thing helps when trying to "work smarter than work harder". More than anything there will be recipes and what my "judges" thoughts are on the the outcome on the new ones we try.

Sesame Orange Chicken
Being the Busy Mom that I am, I have come to rely on my slow cooker quite often. I have actually fallen in love with it lately so you'll see alot of recipes for it.
This particular recipe I found on a fan book page that another member posted. I really should have written her name down to give her credit ( I forgot to). But, we tried it, and we LOVE it. Well, my husband, my M-I-L, and myself do anyway. My kids won't touch it. I still can't get them to eat things if they can SEE the veggies!
So any way, here's the (original) recipe:
Ingredients:
3 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breats
1/2 bottle Sesame salad / marinade dressing
2 Tbsp Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
1 bag Frozen Stir Fry Veggies
Put Chicken in crockpot / slow cooker, add next marinade and OJ concentrate. Cover and cook on low all day (6-8 hours).
30 minutes before serving add frozen veggies.
Serve over Rice or Pasta.
My only alterations: I double the ingredients, this way I have left overs for lunches! I add the veggies in 45-1 hour before serving, the first time I only did it 30 minutes and they were a bit cold (maybe because I had doubled them). I've only used Good Housekeeping Sesame Marinade for this recipe but I'm sure others are just as good.
I hope you enjoy!
